"PHOSPHOLIPASE A2 INHIBITING COMPOSITIONS AND THEIR USE" Inhibitors of phospholipase A2 activity at the cell-surface membrane whose molecular structure comprises a cell-permeable PLA2-inhibitor moiety covalently bonded directly or indirectly to a physiologically acceptable carrier moiety which is effective to inhibit cell internalization of the cellpermeable PLA2-inhibitor moiety, with the proviso that phosphatidylserine is not bonded indirectly via divalent dodecanedioyl to dextrane hydrazide.
