<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the sand blasting work by fitting a vertical cabinet to the upper part of a cable, which is arranged vertically, at the time of eliminating the insulating film of an element wire in the connection end of the cable. CONSTITUTION:At the time of forming a connection part in the end of a cable to be laid vertically, the insulating cover of the cable 1 is peeled, and a base support member 40 is fitted for fixation to the lower part of the end connection of an exposed conductor 2. A bottom plate 30 of a cabinet is fitted to a support flange 42 provided in the base support member 40, and a conical ring 45 is installed to the upper part of an opening 35 of the central part, and rubber sheets 46, 48 are arranged in the upper and the lower parts of the conical ring 45 to form a seal means. A cylindrical main body 11 is combined on the bottom plate 30 of the cabinet to form a vertical cabinet 10, and the work for eliminating the insulating film of an element wire by sand blasting is performed inside of the vertical cabinet.</p> |
