COATING MATERIAL FOR FORMING ANTISTATIC HIGH-REFRACTIVE-INDEX FILM, TRANSPARENT MATERIAL LAMINATE PROVIDED WITH ANTISTATIC ANTIREFLECTIVE FILM, AND CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PURPOSE:To provide the title material which can give a film which can prevent the buildup of static electricity and the falling-on on the image display part or the like of, e.g., a TV cathode-ray tube easily charged with static electricity by the reflected external light. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic higher-refractive-index film containing a mixture of a fine powder of antimony-doped tin oxide with a fine black conductive powder is formed on the surface of an image display part. A lower-refractive- index film having a refractive index at least 0.1 lower than that of the higher- refractive-index film is formed on the higher-refractive-index film. The higher- refractive-index film containing the above fine black conductive powder has high antistatic properties and high refractive index. Therefore, a large difference arises in the refractive index between the higher-refractive-index film and the lower-refractive-index film, so that the reflection of external light can be prevented.
