<p>PURPOSE:To completely remove an adhered matter on a heat needle after completion of checking by providing a contact-adjusting member which can protrude from and withdraw in the foremost end of a probe body, and having a heat needle inside contact an object to be checked, and providing a device which checks heat decomposed gas with a switch which detects the position of the contact-adjusting member, and heating the needle to a high temperature by a signal received therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A probe body 1 has a heat needle 2 in it, and a contact-adjusting ring 3 protrudes and withdraws freely within the foremost end of the body via a compression sring 4, and a position detecting switch 6 is provided in its base end. When the ring 3 touches an object to be examined and withdraws back into the probe body 1 and the needle 2 touches the object, the switch 6 is turned on, and turned off when it goes away from the object. A heat needle heating device 5 is controlled to heat the needle 2 to a high temperature when the switch 6 is switched over from 'on' to 'off'. Thus, deposits on the needle 2 is instantly vaporized, reducing the waiting time for an examination of the next object. The pyrolysis gas generated from the object is forwarded to a hydrochloric acid detector etc.</p> |
