PURPOSE:To provide a laminated biaxially oriented polyester film having a polyester film layer contg. a disc-like calcium carbonate and with excellent scratch resistance, slip properties, transparency etc. CONSTITUTION:The title film is a biaxially oriented laminated film consisting of a film (a layer B) wherein a polyester B contg. substantially no particle is a main ingredient and a film (a layer A) wherein a polyester A contg. a disc-like calcium carbonate particle is a main ingredient provided at least one face thereof. In addition, the mean thickness of the disc-like calcium carbonate particle is 0.2-5-fold of the thickness of the layer A and the content of the disc-like calcium carbonate particle in the layer A is 0.1-20wt.%. In addition, it is pref. that the mean diameter (DD) and the mean thickness (DT) of the calcium carbonate particle satisfy the following equations. 0.05(mum)<=D<=5.0(mum). 1.5<=DD/DT<=10.0. |
