METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING UNCURED THERMALLY CURABLE RESIN FILM

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of manufacturing an uncured thermally curable film without using an organic solvent by making a film using a blend of main ingredients such as epoxy resin, synthetic rubber and a latent curing agent without a solvent at a temperature which maintains a viscosity of 100 to 10000 poise at lower than 100 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A solvent-free blend 4 of 100 pts.wt. of epoxy resin, 1 to 20 pts.wt. of synthetic rubber and 1 to 10 pts.wt. of latent hardner is deposited on a PET film 2 on a heating plate 1 heated at a specified temperature. A film 2 is moved in A direction, and the blend 4 is covered with an uncured thermally curable resin film 5 drawn out of a clearance between a doctor knife 3 and the film 2 to the surface of the film 2. The blend 4 is heated by a heating plate 1 at a temperature such as for maintaining a viscosity of 100 to 10000 poise at lower than 100 deg.C. Thus it is possible to manufacture the uncured thermally curable resin film efficiently without using an organic solvent.
