<p>PURPOSE:To provide a distance/speed measuring apparatus in which erroneous measurement due to noise of received signal at the time of frequency analysis is prevented. CONSTITUTION:The distance/speed measuring apparatus for measuring the distance and speed of a target based on peak frequencies obtained by subjecting a beat signal of a continuous wave transmitting signal subjected to triangular frequency modulation and a receiving signal to frequency analysis in observing sections on every rising and falling sides of each modulation cycle comprises means 7, 8 for storing peak frequencies on the rising and falling sides obtained from a block comprising a plurality of serial observing sections. The distance/ speed measuring apparatus further comprises means 9, 10 for grouping the rising and falling side peak frequencies thus stored so that they belong to a plurality of targets respectively, and means 11 for calculating the distance and speed of each target based on the grouped peak frequencies.</p> |
