PURPOSE:To provide a water seal device which can suppress variation of an outflow rate of water even when materials having varied cross sectional forms are delivered into a water tank continuously. CONSTITUTION:The water seal device is provided with plural water cut-off plates 1 and a shaft 2 which is installed in the plate thickness direction and supports the water cut-off plates freely rotatably. The water cut-off plates 1 are installed on a material inlet 7 of a water tank 3 or on a material outlet so that the edge faces thereof may face the traveling direction of materials, and some parts or the whole of plural water cut-off plates 1 are rotated around the shaft 2 as the axis so as to form a space for the materials to pass through. In the preferable constitution, plural fan-shaped water cut-off plates 1 are connected together freely rotatably near the apex angle of each of the plates by the shaft 2 penetrating in the thickness direction. |
