PURPOSE:To prepare a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas containing nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon, provide its preparation process and also provide the cleaning process for exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas cleaning catalyst is provided with a chemical formula, represented by the mol ratio of an oxide in the dehydrated state, of (1+ or -0.6)R2O . [a . M2O3 . b . Al2O3 . c . MeO] . ySiO2 (In the formula, R represents alkali metal ion and/or hydrogen ion, M represents one metal or more selected from among VIII family metals, rare earth metals, titanium, vanadium, chromium, niobium, antimony and gallium, Me represents an alkaline earth metal, a>=0, b>=0, c>=0, a+b=1, y/c>12 and y>12), supported by a crystalline silicate having a specified X-ray diffraction pattern and modified by steam. |
