INK JET PRINTER AND METHOD FOR MOLDING ITS NOZZLE MEMBER

PURPOSE: To form the orifice of an ink nozzle by a mask laser cutting-off system. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle member having the upper surface facing a recording medium is provided and equipped with a plurality of ink orifices 17 formed by laser cutting-off and a plurality of evaporation chambers 72 and the ink passages allowing the ink orifices 17 and an ink supply source to liquidly communicate with each other are provided in the bottom surface side thereof. The orifices 17 thus produced has a high accuracy and is strong also against corrosion. Further, there is a beneficial point capable of inexpensively producing the nozzle member with a high degree of freedom of a shape.
