PURPOSE: To extend the longitudinal part of a racket shaft to strengthen the stroke power and to reduce the reaction force in hitting, by equipping an elastic damping body on the front end of a grip and moving the fixed end part of the grip shaft from the front fit cone end into the grip main body. CONSTITUTION: The front end of a grip 24 is made an elastic body 25 which has a conical main body 251, a shaft hole 252 to accept a shaft 23 is equipped at the center, and the tip end of the grip 24 is covered by a ring sheet cover part 253 at the bottom end periphery. When the damping body 25 and the grip 24 are to be combined, the shaft 23 is inserted into the shaft hole 252 of the damping body 25 at first and the cover part 252 is folded back outward to expose the inner layer and the main body 251 at the bottom face. Next, the grip 24 is fixed on the base end of the shaft 23. Then the damping body 25 is moved to the tip end of the grip 24 to make the bottom face abut on the tip end of the grip 24, and the cover part 253 is restored to the original condition to cover the dent part 241 of the grip 24. |
