PURPOSE:To provide a vibration control method to detect an abnormal vibration of a winder, and to prevent a trouble of the machine. CONSTITUTION:A paper rewound from an unwinder 1 passes through a lead-in roll 2, a tension roll 3, a spreader roll 4, and a paper roll 5, and is cut in a standard size by a slitter 6. Then it passes-through a paper roll 7, a spreader roll 8, and the first drum roll 9, and is wound as a winding paper 10. In this case, the vibration of the winder is perceived by a vibration perceiving sensor 12 at a rider roll 11 on the winding paper 10, and the resultant signal i1 is inputted to an alarm setter 14 through a vibration meter 13, the signal is compared with a standard vibration value I stored and set in the alarm setter 14 beforehand, and when it is abnormal, the difference is operated by an operation device 15, a signal i2 of the difference is outputted to a speed controller 16, and a signal i3 of speed reduction instruction corresponding to the difference is outputted to the first drum roll 9, so as to reduce the speed of the winder.
