<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing an unsaturated imide compound in high product yield per path, simple process and good efficiency in producing the unsaturated imide compound by reacting a polyamine compound having low solubility in ordinary reactional solvents with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and reacting a dehydrating agent with the resultant polyamidic acid compound to cyclize the polyamidic acid compound. CONSTITUTION:In producing an unsaturated imide-based compound by reacting a polyamine compound having <50 (number of grams of solute in 100g solution) solubility at 25 deg.C to a reactional solvent and containing at least two or more benzene rings and two or more amino acid groups in one molecule with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride having ethylenically unsaturated double bonds, reacting a dehydrating agent with the resultant polyamidic acid compound to cyclize the polyamide acid compound, the objective method for producing the unsaturated imide compound is characterized by gradually continuously or dividedly adding the polyamine compound substantially as a solution without diluting the polyamine compound to a solution obtained by dissolving the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride in the reactional solvent and reacting the polyamine compound with the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and then reacting a dehydrating agent with the resultant polyamidic acid compound to cyclize the polyamidic acid compound.</p> |
