<p>PURPOSE:To let the number of items duplicated by the sort be kept minimum as required, and thereby make an effective use of classification shelves by carrying out the capacity computation of goods by the sort based on ordered data by each store, computing the number of items duplicated by the sort, and thereby issuing corresponding labels so as to be attached to each corresponding item duplicated by the sort. CONSTITUTION:When each store forwards ordered data 19 to a whole sale center and the like, the capacity computation of ordered goods by each store is carried out by a computer 18 so as to allow the number of items duplicated by the sort 8 by each store to be computed, so that multi-racks 3'' and classification shelves are thereby set. And the number of labels 14 equal to the number of items duplicated by the sort as required are issued by an issuing means 20, and the label 14 is attached to each corresponding item duplicated by the sort 8 by a classification operator, so that the number of stages are thereby set in the multi-racks 3''. When all the items duplicated by the sort 8 are set, goods are carried in out of stored places by the operator, the goods are then scanned by a bar code reader 11 at the control panel 1 of each unit shelf 2'' so as to allow the indication lamp 5 of the shelf to which the item duplicated by the sort 8 is put, to be lighted, and concurrently, the number of ordered goods is indicated on a display unit 7''. The quantities of the goods are then delivered to the shelf for the items duplicated by the sort 8, the indicator lamp 5 of which is lighted, while the display unit 7'' is being watched by the operator.</p> |
