PURPOSE:To reduce pores formed on sprayed coating in the case the sprayed coating is formed by an arc wire melting type thermal-spraying machine or a gas wire melting type thermal-spraying machine. CONSTITUTION:A gas other than air such as an inert gas is used as a primary gas 101 for injection, and the circumference of the scattering path of an injecting material from an injection port to the face to be thermal-sprayed is enclosed by a suitable cover 9. On the other hand, apart from the primary gas 101 for injection, a gas other than air such as an inert gas is used as a secondary gas 102 and is introduced into the inside of the cover 9 from an introducing port other than the injection port. At this time, by the introduction of each gas, the pressure of the inside of the cover is increased more than that of the outside, and air is not mixed to thermal-sprayed metal from the outside. |
