<p>PURPOSE: To recover thermal energy and a valuable material by feeding a concentrated spent pulp liquor to a reactor having a fluidized bed of very fine solid particles and coarse solid particles, and returning the very fine solid particles exhausted from the top part of the reactor after a thermal recovery. CONSTITUTION: This method for recovering a valuable material from a spent pulp liquor, is provided by feeding the concentrated spent pulp liquor 2 to a reactor 3 having a fluidized bed of very fine solid particles and coarse solid particles, exhausting a mixture of the part of very fine solid particles, a solid combustion product and a gaseous product from the top part 5 of the reactor and recovering a thermal energy from the very fine particles separated in a cyclone 7 with a heat exchanger 14 and returning it to the reactor. From the solid combustion product, a chemical valuable material is recovered by a usual method.</p> |
