CONSTITUTION:The distance and the direction of dislocation taking place at each frontage of a shelf 5 is stored in advance, when the crane 1 receives cargoes W from a receiving station 8 on receiving a direction that the cargoes shall be received at a certain fraontage, the direction and the distance of dislocation stored for the aforesaid frontage are accessed, the crane is then suspended while being slipped off by a distance D same in length but reverse in direction to those of dislocation accessed from the normal receiving suspended position determined by a shielding plate 10 and a photoelectric sensor 11. Since the cargoes W are lifted up by a fork 4 while being slipped off, dislocation taking place when the cargoes W are received from the receiving station 8, is off set by the dislocation taking place when the cargoes are housed in the frontage, so that the center of the frontage coincides with the center of the cargoes W.</p>
