<p>PURPOSE:To provide the reciprocating saw having the excellent structure and constitution in strength without the abrasion and wear as a mechanism, wherein the rotation of a rotary member is converted into the vertical reciprocating motion of a slider. CONSTITUTION:A reciprocating saw 1 has an eccentric member 29 and an arm 31. The eccentric member 29 is provided as the mechanism so as to convert the rotation of a gear 3 into the vertical motion at the gear 3 in eccentric state with respect to the center of the rotating axis. One end of the arm 31 is slidably linked to a slider 5. The other end thereof is movably in contact with the eccentric member 29 so as to follow the displacement of the eccentric member 29 in the back and forth directions. The fluctuation of the arm 31 is converted into the vertical motion of the slider 5.</p> |
