摘要 |
PURPOSE: To correctly position a rotary-driven spindle by providing a linear motor provided with a motor driving circuit having an actuation frequency range closer to and lower than a structural natural frequency of a support means. CONSTITUTION: A rotary-driven spindle and a cutting tool are supported by plural overlapped relatively movable members to provide action to put them into/out of a three-dimensional machining space 40 of predetermined sizes. Using a linear motor 135 having a predetermined power frequency slightly lower than a natural frequency of the supporting members to linearly move the spindle at a peak acceleration of 1 G at least and at a speed of up to 61 m (2400 in.)/min., it is relatively moved, and moved at the peak acceleration to carry a cutting tool into the three-dimensional machining space 40 to a position matching a machining surface of a workpiece in the machining space 40. |
