PURPOSE:To provide an oxide dielectric material with high Q value, small temperature coefficient of resonance frequency, and high mechanical strength by specifying the composition of the material composed of CaO, ZnO, and Nb2O5. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a composition of an oxide dielectric composition having a formula (CaO)x(ZnO)y(Nb2O5)z, x, y, and z are respectively in a range; 0.36<x<=0.5156, 0.04<=y<0.10, 0.4444<z<0.52. wherein x+y+z=1.00. The chemical states of the Ca, Zn, and Nb to be used are preferably compounds such as oxides, carbonates, etc., which are chemically stable and convenient to be weighed. To obtain the above-mentioned dielectric material, raw materials are mixed by a ball mill to make the mixture uniform. Wet-mixing is preferable. Then, after drying the mixture, presintering is carried out and a powder binder (glue) is mixed with the mixture. As the powder binder, poly(vinyl alcohol) is preferable. Forming pressure is preferably 1.0-3.0t/cm<2>. After forming, degreasing is carried out to remove the binder and sintering is carried out. The resulting sintered body is processed into a desired shape. |
