SEESAW SWITCH AND REMOTE CONTROL UNIT USING IT

PURPOSE:To provide a seesaw switch which prevents interruption of outputs that could be caused by switching among plural contacts and a remote control unit which uses the seesaw switch. CONSTITUTION:A contact 302 is provided in a convex protruding portion 301a provided on the back side of a seesaw key 301 made from an elastic material such as rubber, and a plurality of individual contacts 304 are provided on a printed board 303 and the contact 302 is brought into contact with the individual contacts 304 by pressing of the seesaw key 301. The seesaw motion of the seesaw key 301 allows the contact 302 to be smoothly and continuously connected to and disconnected from the plurality of individual contacts 304 in sequence, thus enabling plural functions to be continuously switched from one to another and output even when the switch is used in a remote control unit.
