Modular multi=purpose electronic control panel - includes mother board with different attachable display panels, and printed cover film indicating functions of displays

The electronic control panel includes a support plate (1) in which apertures are formed allowing digital indicators (2), bar graph indicators (3) and LEDs (4) to pass through. These are mounted, along with control buttons (5) on columns attached to a printed circuit board underneath. A printed film (7) is glued to the support plate with colours and printing indicating the function of indicators. Text on the film may be back lit. Various different types of circuit boards (10) may be attached to the mother board (12) with ribbon cable connections. ADVANTAGE - Modular construction of panel allows numerous different, compatible designs.
