<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power for heating the sensitive body, improve the temperature stability and the heat responsiveness of the element and extend the life therof by using a part of a conductive substrate retaining the sensitive body of the detecting element as a high resistance heating section. CONSTITUTION:A heating section 5 which is so arranged to maintain a given temperature with a cross-section less than the width of the leg sections 3 and 4 and with a high resistance is provided at a part of a conductive support substrate 1 of a detecting element composed of the conductive support substrate 1, a sensitive body 10 and the like. With such an arrangement, when a socket is inserted into the leg sections 3 and 4 used as connection terminal and the sensitive body 10 is energized, the power required for heating the sensitive body 10 can be reduced to a level about one-fifth as large as required when the sensitive body 10 of the same shape is heated with another heater. The integration of the body 10 and the heater can improve the temperature stability and the heat responsiveness and makes the body 10 free from damage due to vibration and impact during the operation.</p> |
