PURPOSE: To use a microcontroller which can be executed at a slower clock speed with lower costs, and to limit power consumption by using simplified and costly efficient hardware. CONSTITUTION: In a working detection mode, when at least one key is pressed, a keypad scanner mechanism(mechanism) activates an integrated circuit, and triggers a normal mode. In the normal mode, the mechanism confirms that a key on a keypad 300 is pressed, and reports it through a microcontoller bus to a microcontroller. The mechanism operates debouncing through a multiple key down code 256 and a no key down code 257. The mechanism is suitable to be integrated into the main body and receiver of a cordless telephone in which the voice of a modem, control channel, and microcontroller part are synthesized with the man-machine interface function of the cordless telephone. |
