<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the work of a receiving person and to prevent the wrong connection of a telephone call by automatically connecting the telephone call at the time of receiving an electronic mail. CONSTITUTION:When the electronic mail is received by a electronic mail transmitting/ receiving means 10, the mail is stored in an electronic mail saving memory 11, and data are displayed on a terminal display 7. The receiving person inputs the position of an opposite side telephone number and a telephone connecting request from the display. A telephone connecting request receiving means 13 activates an opposite side telephone number reading means 14, the opposite party telephone number is read from the designated position of the data in the saving memory 11, and its own telephone number is read from a present telephone number saving memory 12 by its own telephone number reading means 15. Then, the opposite side and its own telephone numbers are informed a PBX processing request means 17, and the connection of the telephone call is requested. According to this request, a PBX 4 connects an opposite party telephone 6 and its own telephone 5. Thus, since the telephone is automatically connected at the time of receiving the electronic mail, the reliability of a system can be improved by reducing the work of the receiving person and eliminating the wrong connection.</p> |
