<p>PURPOSE: To provide a signal processing system which improves resolution by expanding the horizontal frequency bonds of separated luminance and color difference signals and compensating the horizontal contour of an inputted video signal. CONSTITUTION: In a luminance crispener 100 the transition time of an inputted luminance signal is shortened and the frequency band of the luminance signal is expanded and in a horizontal contour compensation part 200 the horizontal contour of the luminance signal is compensated. Then a luminance signal mixer 400 mixes the input signal and outputs a luminance signal after being processed. Further, in an automatic color gain control part 500 the level of an inputted color difference signal is kept constant, in a demodulation part 600 the color difference signal of the constant level is converted into a digital signal and by demodulating it with a burst signal delayed by one period of a horizontal scanning line, the transition time of the high-frequency component of the video signal is shortened and the resolution of the video is improved.</p> |
