PURPOSE:To provide a rotary electronic component for use mainly in equipment mounted in automobile steering or the like and capable of providing stable electric signals. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring 6 is mounted in a case 1 and the bahavior of a rotor 2 during rotation is regulated in one direction by the force F of the plate spring 6 having one end held by the spring holding portion 1c of the case 1. The contact between a contact 5 and an insulating substrate 3 is stabilized so as to provide stable electric signals.
