PURPOSE:To provide a brushless motor having small motor consumption currents. CONSTITUTION:The relationship of the number of poles 2p of a cylindrical magnet 40 installed on the outer rotor side and the number of field coils (n) mounted to a stator-side yoke holder 31 is selected in the integral times of 2p:n=4:3 or 2p:n=10:6, and a sheet-shaped coil 35 formed by a coil conductor is used as the field coil while a part or the whole of a field coil region corresponding to an electrical angle of 360 deg. in the sheet-shaped coil 35 is employed as a feed terminal section 37. The outer circumferential surface of the yoke holder 31 including a yoke 33 oppositely faced to the feed terminal section 37 is cut down and formed in a notched end face 60. Since the feed terminal section 37 is led out to the outside of an outer rotor, the sheet-shaped coil 35 can be supplied simply with electricity by using the feed terminal section 37.
