The procedure for restocking the sea bed with marine phanerogames is to recover the cuttings and to replant them on the sea bed. The cuttings of the rhizomes, which carry foliar bundles (4), are collected from a depth, greater than that of the area to be restocked. The collected cuttings are then fixed individually and at a preset spacing from each other, to the sea bed by means of hooked pegs (6). Each cutting, which is used is formed with at least two foliar bundles and the cuttings are spaced at a maximum of 20 cm apart. USE/ADVANTAGE - It provides a high rate of success for the restocking of the sea bed over a period of time.
