PURPOSE:To provide a receiver for satellite broadcast capable of reproducing/ outputting an audio signal even when a broadcast satellite is stymied for a receiver antenna by an obstruction, etc., during the mobile reception of satellite broadcast. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal is image-displayed on a display 8 via an I/F generation circuit 2, a frequency demodulator 3, an LPF 4, and a video processing circuit 6. The audio signal (a) is reproduced/outputted from a speaker 9 via a BPF 5, audio decoder circuit 7, a switch circuit 14, and an audio output circuit 15. An I/F envelope detector 10 detects the amplitude of an intermediate frequency, and image-displays a still picture on the display 8 when electric field strength is decreased. The audio signal (b) received by a ground broadcast wave antenna 11 is demodulated by a frequency demodulator 13 via a frequency converter 12, and is added on an electronic switch 14 with the audio signal (a), and also, the output pulse (c) of a switching pulse generation circuit 16 is added to it, and the signal (b) is selected when the electric field strength of the satellite broadcast is decreased, and the signal (a) is selected when the electric field strength is returned to normal one. |
