<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for manufacture of a voltagedependent non-linear resistor with which a side face high resistance layer of excellent adhesiveness can be formed. CONSTITUTION:A mixture, containing zinc oxide as the main component and metal oxide as an adding component, is molded. This molded body is fired primarily, and the side face of the primary fired body is coated with side-face paste for formation of a side-face high resistance layer, and it is dried up. Then, in the method for formation of a voltage nonlinear resistor by conducting the second firing operation, the coating and drying of the side part are repeated two or more times, and the viscosity of the side-face paste of the first coating is formed at 300 cps or less.</p> |
