<p>PURPOSE:To operate the program searching and retrieving at a high speed by accurately carrying out the program searching by a time code LTC or VITC after the program searching in the vicinity of an editing point is carried out by an address code VASS. CONSTITUTION:A fast fowarding command is sent to a mechanism control microcomputer 16 by an operation microcomputer 14 and a video tape is travelled at a high speed. A tape travelling speed is descriminated by a tape speed discriminating device 13 using a signal from a control head 5 and a switch 11 is changed to an H terminal. When a VASS code in the vicinity of the editing point read by the head 5 is sent to the microcomputer 14 by a VASS reader 17 via time switch 11, a speed searching command is sent to the microcomputer 16 by the microcomputer 14 and the tape speed is switched to a middle speed. Then, the switch 11 is changed to an L terminal by the device 13, the time code LTC read by an audio head 4 is inputted to the microcomputer 14 and when the editing point and input data are made coincident, the travelling of the tape is stopped.</p> |
