摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance laser output while stabilizing by admixing a molecular or light atomic gas composed of many elements with a buffer gas and laser medium encapsulated in a pipe thereby increasing the density of atom of oscillation light being pumped to an upper level during pulse injection interval. CONSTITUTION:A gas adsorbent 15c adsorbing hydrogen gas or moisture is disposed closely to a gas suction port. Adsorbed moisture or gas is discharged depending on the temperature of a discharge tube 2, admixed with buffer gas sucked through the gas suction port, and the mixture is fed into the discharge tube. Neon can be admixed easily with moisture or hydrogen through a gas adsorbent in a compact and inexpensive system. The gas adsorbent 15c is composed of ceramic or heat resistane titanium wool, for example. When the buffer gas is added with steam or hydrogen, discharge resistance is increased during pulse interval resulting in the enhancement of laser output.
