PURPOSE:To realize magnetic levitation carriage equipment which enables stable running of a carrying truck irrespective of its passing on the joints of rails or of the direction of its running. CONSTITUTION:This equipment has a construction wherein a carrying truck 12 which can run along rails 11a and 11b, magnets 15a to 15d for levitation, gap detecting means 16a to 16d for detecting gaps between the carrying truck and the rails, joint detecting means 16a to 16d for detecting joints between adjacent rail elements of the rails, and a control means which controls a current to be supplied to the magnets for levitation in accordance with outputs of the gap detecting means and which makes the outputs of the gap detecting means ineffective when the joints of the rails are detected by the joint detecting means, while making them effective when the joints of the rails are not detected by the joint detecting means, are provided. |
