PURPOSE:To execute automatically an optimum control of a snowremoving car, a working car, a test car and a car with an attitude control function, that runs on a railroad track. CONSTITUTION:A data carrier 10 enabling reading and writing of storage information in a noncontact manner from outside is installed on the side of rails 4 on which a vehicle 1, runs, while a reader-writer 12 reading the storage information by noncontact connection with the data carrier 10 on the occasion of passing the place of installation of the data carrier 10 is provided on the vehicle 1 side. The shape and attitude of the vehicle and states of operation of mounted apparatuses thereof are controlled automatically by a vehicle control device of the reader-writer 12 on the basis of the read information of the data carrier 10. Information showing classifications of objects such as stations, railroad crossings, curves, ends, points, etc., existing in front of the point of installation, information on distances to the objects and further vehicle control information on the shape, the attitude, the states of operations, etc., are stored beforehand in the data carrier 10. |
