A tuned coupling between a source 28 and a load R L comprises two similar polarized ceramic piezo-electric transducers 10, 12 coated with silver electrodes 16, 18 and 20, 22 and bonded to a common foil conductor 14 by extremely thin films 24 and 26 of a cyanoacrylate monomer adhesive. Electrical contact between the conductor 14 and electrodes 16, 20 is assured by the small projections usually present on the surfaces of those elements, which projections penetrate the films 24, 26. To improve the electrical conductivity the adhesive may be loaded with a conducting powder. In a modification (Fig. 2, not shown), a single cyanoacrylate monomer adhesive film 46 acting as an insulator is interposed between conductors 42, 44 soldered to electrodes 32, 38 of the transducers 30, 36.
