PURPOSE:To prevent automatic cooking time from being lengthened even when an adapter is used. CONSTITUTION:An induction heating cooking unit is composed of a main body having a heating coil 21 and a power supply coil 25, an adapter 7 loaded on the main body so as to be mountable and demountable freely while having a power receiving coil 35 coupled magnetically with the power supply coil 25 and an auxiliary heating coil 36 connected to the power receiving coil 35 and a control part 27 to carry out automatic cooking such as boiling cooking while supplying or interrupting electric power to the adapter 7. In the early stage when the boiling cooking is started, the control part 27 interrupts power supply to the adapter, and prevents automatic cooking time from being lengthened. |
