PURPOSE:To obtain the color photographic sensitive material high in silver chloride content and image quality and sensitivity and superior in sharpness and preservility. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has 3 kinds of photosensitive emulsion layers different in color sensitivity containing a coupler, silver halide emulsion grains, and a hydrophilic colloid and a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on a support. The silver halide emulsion grains are sensitized with a gold sensitizer and comprises >=95mol% silver chloride. The hydrophilic colloidal layer containing a white pigment in an amount of >=40 weight % of the layer is formed by coating between the support and the photosensitive emulsion layer nearest to the support. A ratio of the solid weight (g/m<2>) of the total hydrophilic colloid to the total weight of coated silver halide (in terms of silver g/m<2>) in the photosensitive material is 5.0-30.0.
