PURPOSE:To support process where a user himself finds out a retrieval solution being coincident with the desire of the user by permitting the user to evaluate the quality of the display retrieval solution in terms of a sample, calculating the retrieval solution resembling the desire of the user at the time of executing and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:A retrieval solution evaluating means 100 displays the data base retrieval solution stored in a data base retrieval solution storing part 600 and permits the user to evaluate the quality of the retrieval solution. An inter-retrieval solution distance calculating means 200 makes the difference of plural attributes which the retrieval solution to be evaluated and other retrieval solution have into a point and calculates distance between the both retrieval solution. A vicinity distance threshold value calculating means 300 calculates the threshold value of vicinity distance of the retrieval solution to be evaluated from inter-retrieval solution distance. A vicinity retrieval solution calculating means 400 calculates the retrieval solution resembling the retrieval solution to which the user gives favorable evaluation based on the vicinity distance threshold value. The vicinity retrieval solution is displayed by a vicinity retrieval solution displaying means 500.
