PURPOSE: To measure the individual beam outputs of overlapped beams by providing a reflection/convergence surfaces which receive the peripheral parts of the overlapped radiation beams, separate the beams and make them converge to one of radiation detectors. CONSTITUTION: Diode lasers 20 and 22 are fitted in a base plate 12 and they respectively emit a couple of optical beams 28 and 30. The center parts of the optical beams 28 and 30 pass through a cover plate 16 and go out of a system 10. A pair of photodetectors 40 and 42 are installed on the base plate 12. A pair of reflected convergence surfaces 60 and 62 are provided on the surface 34 of the cover plate 16. The surface 60 collects peripheral beams 52 from the laser 20, reflects them and makes the beams 52 converge on the detector 42. The surface 62 collects the peripheral beams 52 from the laser 22, reflects them and makes the beams 52 converge on the detector. Thus, overlapped light from the two lasers can separately be detected in the detectors 40 and 42. |
