CYCLE CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent a rush current from being generated at the start of electric supply accompanying the magnetic saturation of an inductance load when AC electric power supplied to the inductance load is adjusted under the cycle control of an electric power supply switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:Self-extinction type semiconductor control elements 11 and 13 provided in the electric power supply switch circuit 8 of semiconductor constitution between an AC power source 1 and the inductance load (transformer 2) are brought under switching control in synchronism with the zero-crossing of the alternating magnetic flux of the load to adjust the AC electric power supplied to the load in synchronism with the zero-crossing of the magnetic flux.
