The wiper includes blade (14) of deformable material cooperating with the windscreen (12) and having a top connecting head (16) which is in turn mounted on the support arm (22). Washing fluid is fed to the screen (12) through the moulded supply channel (28) and supply jets (36). The blade moulding (10) has wings (34) and a flexible insert (40) joined to the squeegee (14) by the neck (24), with extensions (42) lining the wings. The blade is held to the wiper arm by the section (22) gripping the projection (18) which is joined to the top of the blade. During screen washing, the squeegee flexes from side to side and the top edge (44) covers the holes (28) so that fluid is fed only to the wiping side of the squeegee. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in vehicle windscreen wipers, with the advantages that fluid is fed directly onto the screen without scattering in the air flow, and fluid is used more economically.
