摘要 An ABS system for the brakes of a vehicle has a hydrostatic device for applying braking to each wheel, a device (5 to 8) for detecting the speed of each wheel and a device (17 to 20) to control the fluid pressure according to the speed. The hydrostatic device has at least one pump (21 to 24) whose direction is reversible to increase or decrease the fluid pressure. The individual wheel cylinders (13 to 16) are connected by solenoid valves (25 to 28) to the master cylinder (1). The control unit (29) initiates the ABS mode. This depends on the difference between vehicle speed deduced from the wheel speeds/accelerations and a speed set point. Three alternative circuits are given. ADVANTAGE- Noise and vibration problems reduced or eliminated with improved stability.
