PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING FIBRE OR PARTICLE BOARDS

A process is disclosed for manufacturing fibre or particle boards. A polyurethane reaction accelerating catalyst is added to a binder containing NCO groups. Lignocellulose-containing particles or fibres are coated with the binder and then shaped into a mat which is pressed under the influence of heat to form a particle or fibre board.
