摘要 Process comprises synchronising the excitation of the oscillator and one or more connected amplifiers so that the power output is continuously changing. Pref., each laser in the arrangement reaches it max. power output by each electrical excitation output and the total output summed. Several Cu vapour lasers are connected together in a chain and are operated by the same pulse frequency. The oscillator is provided with resonator mirrors. The last laser in the chain acts as amplifier or attenuator, and has a max. power output of at least 10% of the sum of the max. power outputs of the amplifiers, pref. 100% of the sum of the max. power outputs of the amplifiers. ADVANTAGE - The power output is quickly changed.
