The switch has a housing enclosing the switch mechanism and a blocking device (16) cooperating with the latter which has a pivoted blocking element (20), which can only be operated via an inserted key. The blocking device pref. prevents the operation of the manual switching in lever (18) and is fitted via an access opening (22) in the switch cover (14) and protected by a security disc (26) acted on by a coil spring fitting into a reception seat (28) in the blocking element around a central pin (30).
