STEAM GENERATOR

A steam generator has a gas flue made of substantially vertical pipes (6) interconnected in a gas-tight manner which form an evaporator heating surface (16), whose inlet ends are connected to an inlet collector (12) and whose outlet ends are connected to a water-steam separator (22) connected to the inlet collector (12) by a downpipe (24) arranged outside the gas flue. In order to separate water from steam, at least one centrifugal separator (22) is provided. High load variation speeds can thus be controlled during operation of the steam generator.
