The carrier (2.2) can be placed over the keyboard (1.1,1.2) of the electronic instrument (1). The rear side of the carrier facing away from the player has a rear edge (2.10) that grips behind the keyboard. The front side facing the player has a front edge (2.11) fitting a section of the instrument housing in-front of or beneath the keys (1.2) of the usual keyboard provided. The front edge (2.11) can be placed in recesses (1.3) under the front region of the lower keys (1.2) on an edge of the instrument housing. The push-button arrangement can cover the keyboard with a span of five octaves. ADVANTAGE - Easily fitted and removed for alternative fingering type of keyboard to suit stretch and technique of player.
