The preserve-glasses or other vessels are accommodated in a vacuum chamber (1), sealed off hermetically from the outside by a hinging lid (2) with joint (3). Exhauster (12-14) and diaphragm (6) mechanisms are included. The lid can have two exhauster unions (4,7), while a sealing ring with diaphragm is held by screws inside the lid at the top. A small chamber (18) for evacuation is thus formed above the diaphragm and connected to one of the unions, while the chamber below is connected to the other one. USE/ADVANTAGE - Full transmission of vacuum from exhauster to vacuum-preserve foodstuffs.
