The wiper arm and blade of the vehicle windscreen wiper includes a retaining bow (6). The bow has springy properties and is made from a metallic material. Individual claw-shaped sections (10) of the bow have part sections (18) which fit around the upper side contour (9) of the wiper black back section (7). The part sections are bent upwards to form holding strips running parallel to the back section of the blade. USE/ADVANTAGE - The vehicle windscreen wiper system enables the blade and arm assembly to be made with the min. number of parts, yet ensures a good wiping quality.
